This morning I ran my best 5K time yet.
35 minutes and 32 seconds.
I'm hoping that I have cracked the 12 minute mile, too!
Still hurting, but I'm able to run without serious pain. I'm making sure I ice it really well throughout the day, and Ibuprofien is my best friend.

This is the first spring in 3 years that I have not had to deal with a running injury. I think in the past years I have been over-eager to get out and enjoy the good weather and have over done it. But, this year my running partners have struggled to get out and we've not been going our usual distance. Even though I'd like to be running farther and more often, I'm enjoying the lack of pain in my legs.
So, keep icing and keep the IB going. It helped me A LOT to wrap my sore leg/s while running. If you haven't tried wrapping your ankle - give it a whirl.
